Global eco Laws to implement Accountabillity on global payers towards the ecosystem and people!

In solidarity with the women of Bhopal, the women in Palestine who need to get possibilities to share the sparse water in ways that enable peace. in solidarity with the women living in slums and having to pay more for water then their richer naightbours with water from a tap, solidarity with the countless women that have been or would be raped or killed in wars that are about of water rights,
With those that have to walk a long way for water, those that coca cola has just stolen their river and in solidarity with all the people on this earth, that are all worthy to live on a democraticly surviving planet.

Water ? Some say:" What? it simply comes out of my tap". But: is it poisoned or othervise contaminated? Does it come with enough pressure, or doesn't it because the corporation that wants to make profit with it hasn't invested enought into the repair of the ways that transport it to your tap? (as in London). In many parts of the world water is or is about to become a reason for wars. we should prevent those wars now!!. Wars for water are a thread ony as long as water is not globaly recognised as an ecological common and a human right to be protected by the world commu-nity. It can be ensured in its supply as a democratic right .(global common). At this point in the ecological develop-ments this is not a choice but a priority for survival on the planet. As the wars for water will otherwise undermine democratic possibillities.

Localy earned income from water management/suply shall not be allowed to private busines as joint stock companies, to profiteurs from the suffering of others, to war mongers, ecological polluters and unaccountable global players. But owned by communal entities they could add with a global water tax to the enactment of socialy and ecologicaly sound water supply as a basic right everywhere. It is only if we share and care together for our water, that we can manage the ecocrisis we are in..

Communal water suply /management firms with communal water commitees could decide, which firms are fit and trustworthy from their history, to get the order to fullfill the important duty to water suplly, cleansing, management and so on. We need a globaly accepted eco law to make globaly active corporations accountable when they damage the natural ressources. Water is the element to developt this law around the problems attached to it. Firms who commited eco crimes (Dow for Bhopal) need to be fined according to the damage that they are respinsibe: until the danmage to the local water and people is not removed completely they are to pay. Even hight fines and imprisonement of the responsable managers can never bring back the many killed, but it is the rational only way to ensure that economny gets to act responsabel enought and that poisons are cleaned as possible. Those fines shall be payed into a corresponding Fonds for the paymend of the cleaning and only firms that have proven their accuracy and trustworhyness will have a chance of getting those orders that will be given by the local peoples commitees.

We want that this demand is widely spread, so that it may become a focus for glocal actions in January 2008 when
it was decidet to have not a world social forum but worldwide (g) local actions for an alternative. In Berlin we meet

Presseerklärung zur Kunst-Gebung/Kund Gebung am 8. März 2008 um 12.00 Uhr

Zum Auftakt der internationalen Kampagne der Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft PSI vom 8. - 22. März 2008 für Aufklärung über das seit 2002 bestehende UNO-Statut zum Menschenrecht auf Wasser.

Alle sind eingeladen, über die Wasserdimensionen nachzudenken und was sie für unser Mensch-sein bedeuten. Ein Wasserglas ist dafür mitzubringen.

Hintergrund:
Während der Berliner Senat unter antidemokratischen und Politik vermeidenden Gründen ein 36 000 Unterschriften zählendes Bürgerbegehren für Demokratie, Transparenz und zum Rückkauf der Wasserwerke zurückweist, wissen die meisten Berliner nicht, dass

1) die UNO schon 2002 ein Menschenrecht auf preiswerte und gesunde und demokratisch zu legitimierende Wasserver- und Entsorgung beschlossen hat.

2) die Erfahrungen mit privatisierter Wasserversorgung zur Genüge gezeigt haben, dass die UNO-Ziele von 2002 damit nicht umsetzbar sind und folgerichtig hat z.B. die Niederlande in ihrer Verfassung das UNO-Recht umgesetzt als ein Verbot, die Wasserver- und Entsorgung überhaupt zu privatisieren!

3) sich eine international organisierende Gewerkschaft für öffentliche Dienstleistungen gebildet hat und insbesondere Frauen aus vielen Kontinenten für eine Sicherung der ökologischen Resource Wasser stark machten, sodass z.B. auch Uruguay das Wasserrecht in die Verfassung aufnahm. 4) die UNO-Dekade zur Wasserver- und Entsorgung dazu führt, dass weltweit Global Player, -die noch durch kein globales Umweltrecht oder andere globale Garantierechte für Demokratie kontrolliert werden- versuchen, die Grundwasserreserven oder auch ganze Flüsse einfach aufzukaufen. Dieser unkontrollierte Kapitalismus droht in vielen Regionen zu Kriegen zu führen, wenn nicht vorher eine breite Weltbürgerschaft das UNO-Menschenrecht auf Wasser als eine staatlich als öffentliches Weltgut und eine ebensolche Dienstleistung vor staatlicher Privatisierung an Shareholder Unternehmen schützt.

5) ein deutscher Professor aufzeigen zu können meint, dass ohne einen Schutz der örtlichen Wasserkreisläufe aus einsehbaren Gründen auch die Ziele der überlebensnotwendigen CO 2 Reduktion nie erreichbar sein werden.

6) zum demokratischen und ökologischen Umbau der Weltgesellschaft daher Frauen eine elementaren Feminismus für ein demokratisches Überleben postulieren und alle Menschen einladen, sich in diesem Sinne am 8. März an unserer Kundgebung zu beteiligen. Kommen Sie und bringen sie ein Wasserglas mit!

Die Kundgebung beginnt um 12.00 Uhr und dauert mindestens bis 13.00 Uhr Sie eröffnet bei Interesse den open process "share about water", um mit Mitteln der Kunst und im internationalen Austausch das Bewußtsein über die lebensnotwendige Ressource Wasser zu steigern. Zu diesem Prozess haben wir die Aktion „Fluxus refloated“ gestartet, zu welcher sich Wasserinitiativen weltweit vernetzen, um ihre Kunstaktivitäten miteinander zu teilen und zu der auch alle Künstler/Innen im Bethanien eingeladen wurden.
